 Float Master has many choices when it comes to size and color of strike indicators. A wide selection of colors and sizes are necessary for the fishermen to successfully fish the changing water conditions. 

Just Added: A new 3/8" Teardrop has just been added to our Product Line as of  3/21/08. This tiny teardrop is available in all the solid colors including a new color of Fluorescent Red. This teardrop is also available in the 3 standard Fluorescent colors in Two-Toned, River Camo, and Dark Shadow. They are packaged 4 to a pack. Pictures will be posted on the site as soon as the photos are ready.

  The indicators attach to your line using a piece of rubber tubing provided with each indicator. Conveniently packaged in zip lock bags with simple instructions on front and back. The 3/8" & 1/2" rounds are packaged four in a pack and so are the 3/8" Teardrops. The rest come three in a pack with the exception of the 1" round and 1" teardrop. They come two in a pack.

 The tubing used in 9 of the 10 different sizes of indicators is interchangeable. The interchangeable sizes and shapes include all the rounds and the 3/8" thru 3/4" teardrops. The 1" Teardrop shaped indicators require a larger size of tubing due to the amount of grip needed to hold it in place on your line.

 Replacement Tubing is sold in 10 piece packs used with all the round indicators and the 3/8" thru 3/4" teardrops or in bulk rolls of 50 feet per roll. The larger diameter tubing used with the 1" teardrops is sold in 2 piece packs that include two 14" lengths which is enough to make 20 pieces cut to proper length.

 So here are the different sizes and colors to choose from. There are two basic shapes and ten different sizes. The shapes are spherical (round) and teardrop. The color choices are solid fluorescents and solid white on the smaller versions,(3/8", 1/2" & 5/8") and two tone fluorescent and white, or solid white on the larger models. The round shapes are also available in River Camo patterns and Dark Shadow patterns. The Teardrop shapes are available in the same color patterns.  There are five different spherical sizes. They are as follows; 3/8" round, 1/2" round, 5/8" round, 3/4" round and 1" round. The 3/8", 1/2" and 5/8" rounds can be purchased in solid white, solid fluorescent orange, solid fluorescent red, solid fluorescent yellow and solid fluorescent green. The 5/8",  3/4" and 1" rounds can be purchased in solid white, or two tone fluorescent yellow & white, two tone fluorescent orange & white, two tone fluorescent red & white and two tone fluorescent green & white. A River Camo Pattern is available with any of the Fluorescent colors on the top half and a Shaded Gray Color on the bottom. These are the preferred choices when fishing clear water, an overcast sky or pressured fish.

 There are five different teardrop sizes to choose from. They are as follows; 3/8" & 1/2" teardrop, 5/8" & 3/4" teardrop and 1" teardrop. The color choices are solid white, solid fluorescent orange, solid fluorescent red, solid fluorescent yellow and solid fluorescent green for the 3/8" , 1/2" and the 5/8". For the 5/8", 3/4" and 1" teardrop you may select solid white,  two tone fluorescent yellow & white, two tone fluorescent orange & white, two tone fluorescent red & white or two tone fluorescent green & white. A River Camo Pattern is available with any of the fluorescent colors on the top half and a Shaded Gray Color on the bottom. These are the preferred choices when fishing clear water with an overcast sky or pressured fish.

 A "New Color Pattern" has been introduced in September of 2007. It is referred to as "Dark Shadow". It is available in 5/8", 3/4" & 1" round, and 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4" and 1" teardrop. The Dark Shadow patterns offer your choice of the four fluorescent colors on top and a Flat Black finish from the waterline down. This is a Stealth Fishing technique. Very difficult for the fish to see this indicator under any fishing condition.

The solid colors are easier to see on the water with the smaller sizes. The larger sizes use a two tone pattern to cut back on the area of brightness but still offers enough visibility for the fisherman to see above the water.

 Any of the indicators that have a white color to them, whether it's solid white or a two tone indicator, seem to blend in with the surface foam and bubbles on the water. This has been the top choice of professional guides throughout the Great Lakes Region. I think these guys are trying to tell us something. They're on the water almost every day.
