A little bit about us

Float Master Products originated in September of 2004 near Cleveland, Ohio. A few products were developed while fly fishing in a majority of the Lake Erie tributaries and others of the Great Lakes, to make things easier and more enjoyable while on the water.

Inspiration was the key to the development of Float Master Products due to the lack of satisfaction from using many other brands of Strike Indicators that just caused a multitude of frustrations. There are many popular name brand strike indicators that were lost over the years of fly fishing because they would fly off the line or lose it's setting and change the depth setting unwantedly or simply break apart, and the list goes on but this just names a few. All of this turned into a waste of money, created stream litter and increased setup time taking away from the enjoyment of fly fishing. I had to find a better way.

So after much time spent on experimentation with different materials and uncounted hours of fieldtesting, Float Master Products started  manufacturing & marketing strike indicators of the Right Angle Technique in September of 2006. This is an indicator that offers full adjustment for depth, can be applied or removed within seconds, even to a pre-exisiting rig, and uses a natural latex rubber tube to keep it in place, forming the Right Angle in your leader. The right angle technique is a very accurate method of fly fishing while using an indicator.

As you visit the other pages of information on this web site you will learn more of the simple operation of this product and why Float Master Strike Indicators will become your first choice when choosing a strike indicator to fish with.

We are currently working on other products to offer you to make your days on the water a little more enjoyable. All of this information will be posted on the web site as these products become available. Please check back for further information. See you on the water.

  "Good Fishing" to you,
